Absolute don'ts for Fall 2011

Men used to have the habit of trying to make the most ridiculous combinations with the clothes they will find the fastest or are the easiest to put on or the most comfortable ones. They don't refine their outfits with their personal creations and don't mind little details. However details are the creatures that MAKE your outfit. What are the worst fashion blunders a man can make? I listed some for you below:

- Their pants are too long or too short
- With socks in their (mostly open) shoes
- All different kind of patterns combined
- Their tie is too long or too short
- The waist of their trousers is too high or too low
- Dirty shoes, while they are supposed to be neatly
- Too many  layers of clothing

These facts are some facts about the fashion behavior in general. Most men know they are not allowed to wear socks in sandals, or to wear a pants which is too short. But what about the more fashionable men? Do they know what is absolutely not done this fall? No matter how many must-have merchandise picks we make, it's impossible to dress right if you don't know what you're doing wrong. These are the four seasonal style mistakes you're bound to fall into this autumn - unless, of course, you learn how to avoid them.

While the economy was in a slump, designers turned out the lights on colour. The name of the game was grey scale, and it has aptly appeared on catwalks during Fashion Weeks for the last couple of years. But indictors are bouncing back, and so is the palette of bold, deep shades of red, purple and green. They're not just for warmer weather anymore.

Coats are the season's most easily observable offence. Squared silhouettes, bulky insulation and overgrown hemlines only serve to make you look hefty, and in the worst cases, possibly homeless. The quick fix: keep an eye out for shearling-lined jackets that are cut close to the body and cropped at the waist.

After witnessing boots pointy enough to poke an eye out earlier, we've begun a return to the rounded edges of classic footwear. Remember the Dr. Martens? Well, they're back, and when worn right, they're better than ever!

Men tend to get happy when it comes to cologne. That's why we're big fans of lighter fragrances with hints of lemon and lime. But when temps dip, it's necessary to make a switch to a firmer fragrance.
